Default Are 96-98 civic coupes same as 99-00 coupes?

So i crashed my 00 si and i am gonna sell the shell. I am taking off as many parts as i can and gonna find a 96-98 coupe and swap as many parts of as i can. First thing, will my b16a fit into a 96-98 if i use the b16a motor mounts? Other things like my exhaust, skunk 2 camber kit and coil overs and shocks i am pretty sure they will fit right up. i know the front ends are a little different (grill and headlights are smaller) Is there anything that won't fit at all? thanks!

everything is the same except for:

96-98 are OBD2a
99-00 are OBD2b

Different front ends, including headlights and fogs
Different tail lights
Different cup holder
Different climate control console (to be more technical, the whiole bezel, heater core, blower and vent tubes)

Now the 99-00 Si also had read Disc Brakes and a Rear Sway, which no other coupe had.

Otherwise everything is interchangable on the cars, all your 99-00 Si stuff will bolt right on to an 99-00 Coupe.

Yes, all of your suspension, exhaust will bolt up. Swapping your B16A2 shouldnt be that bad either. Im not sure exactly what mounts you will need, but im guessing you will use the ones from your SI.

the wiring is different, so use the 98 harness with the 98 car with the b16 from the 99 and use an obd2a to an obd2b jumper harness and the 99 si ecu
