96-2000 civic distributor Question
hey i was wondering, if anyone knows is a obd2 d16y8 distrubutor will work on my obd2 d16y7 non vtec engine. if not will 96-2000 civic hx dizzy work on it either. please help me out i need to know asap. any info will be appreciated!!

I heard that Y8 dizzy has something to do with vtec it is different in some way

i have both swapped Y7 dizzy into my Y8 swap and they are the same.

vtec needs right oil pressure so full oil
must be moving 25 kmh or mph whichever
must be operating temp
the dizzy has nothing to do with vtec

Sorta the mounting flange is different on some, the sensors in all '92 - '00 ZC, D and B-series distributors are interchangeable.
