96 1.6 NON-Vtec into 95
What do i have to to put a 1.6 non vtec out a 96 civic into my 95? Mine has a bad engine and i can get a 1.6 out of a 96 for cheap with low miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It will require your side timing belt mount to be changed to 94-5 spec, intake manifold swaped to your old one, 96 spec distributor either reppined or rewired to OBDI plug or your old distibutor cut up a little.

just reuse your exhaust and intake mani. the only tricky part is you have to rewire your dizzy.also reuse your original injectors. when you plug the harness in youll notice that you will be one plug short. the 96 motor has a crankshaft sensor that your old motor does not have. dont worry dont need that. other than that, it should be a direct bolt in if I remember right...........
yup forgot about the mount
