"type R" funny considering there was never a 7th gen R let alone Honda would never have mud flaps saying type R. Stop giving these car's an already bad name

You can babble on all you want about what motor it has, or what it's based on, or whatever else you want to. Fact is, it's a Civic, and it's a Type R. EVERY Civic has its own chassis designation - the fact that the 01-05 CTR has its own chassis code doesn't make it any less of a Civic.

Re: 97 civic type r flaps fit or custom work?
Which direction should I use to point out why you're wrong?
First off, no one claimed there was a 7th gen CTR, until you decided to bring it up for no apparent reason. You proved your own statement correct...good job, you can do what any middle schooler can.
Second off, the 2nd gen CTR (01-05) is based off of the 7th gen Civic chassis. Period. If you really want to try to disprove that, we'll all sit here while pointing and laughing at you.
Finally, it appears you've made a poorly veiled attempt at the weakest personal attack I've ever seen. That's the first step to admitting you're wrong. Do yourself a favor and skip steps 2 through 6 and move straight to the part where you admit it and move on. If you think "old *** Hondas" are the only thing I've ever worked on, I have bad news for you...I've rebuilt a car worth more money than you could comprehend. I've shoehorned a V12 into an Explorer. 4, 5, 6, 8, flat, V, inline, rotary, reciprocating, outboard...I've even worked on a pulsejet engine. Move on with the personal attacks, and stick to the tech here in the tech section. You're wrong. Accept it with a modicum of grace and a tiny dash of humility and move on.

Re: 97 civic type r flaps fit or custom work?
Ohh god you're blind to suspension and chaises structure/layout hmm lets see why are the vast majority of a EP3 suspension parts NOT compatible with an ES1/2/EM2 hmmm ? and they are with an an RSX/FG1/2/FA5. Nope sorry it was based with the Integra RSX since the 8th gen's came after the dc5/EP3. And for the personal attack well lets see I told you to keep working on old Honda's I tell everyone that but here's one for you since you're always on my nuts about things... I'm 19 you're what 30 at least so you better know a lot more then me(in something's you do forsure) But why do I never see you in the time attack/HPDE section will all that experience you must be a better driver then me right ?. No sorry but suspension/aero/Time attack is something thing I can talk circles around you in yes we've all swapped v12's into mini's etc and work on F1 car's. I've had my fun, you take me way too seriously man and you're easy to get a response out of you.
