96-00 rear seat reinforcement bar? (just look)
Did this come on all the 96-00 models?
What was it ment to stiffen/support?
Any oem peice like this that will fit on
a 5th gen civic? I wonder if it helps
much of anything. Cassis experts

it did not come on 96 civics. atleast not on hatchbacks.
to me its more of a safety thing then anything. and plus it adds strenght.

haha when i read the topic i would think that the picture would be from my thread. and yes it came with the 96-98 cus i have it on my car. im debating whether or not to put it back on and trying to get the carpet to fit on again. i might just put back the side ones on cus it overlaps the middle one, and maybe thats why it doesnt fit correctly.. but yeah that thing does weigh about 30 pounds!

Side impact protection is always a pluss. I know
it wont fit on a 5th gen, I actually already tried.
If anyone needs or wants one I have all 3 peices.
