96-00 honda civic door lock help!
I can't seem to get the door lock key cylinder out of my 96 honda civic. Unlike the 92-95 civics, this one has a metal chrome bracket in the way, and the release clip is inside it. How to remove the bracket? Any ideas?

Okay, I had trouble with mine too but it was simple when i solved it.
Sitting in the cylinder is a brass looking clip that holds the lock to the handle. It's visible in various spots around the back of the cylinder. Take needle noses or a flat head and try to pull that clip from the visible point at the bottom. It's a U shaped clip with the opening looking up, so pull it out from the bottom and the cylinder will move free out of the handle.
EDIT: Unless you're talking about the metal bracket that holds the handle level with the door. If that's the case, remove the two 10mm bolts and take off the bracket, then remove the clip as I said.
