Are all 96-00 REAR bumpers interchangeable?

My 00 civic sedan rear bumper is done, and I need a replacement. Will all 96-00 hatches/coupes/sedans fit the same?

Let me know so I can get the proper bumper, I'm not worried about a 96-98 bumper on my 00, just need it replaced!

rear bumps on 96-00 coupes and sedans are interchangable, 96-00 hatch rear bumper will not fit any coupe or sedans.

yea bro hes right......my cuzin pulled a rear bumper off of a sedan and it bolted right up to his coupe! so yea im 100% positive that there interchangable

Yes, all '96-'00 Civic coupe and sedan rear bumpers are interchangeable. The '99-'00 coupe/sedan rear bumpers will have a slight "lip" along the bottom edge of the bumper. The '96-'98 coupe/sedan rear bumpers will just turn under and not come back out.

The coupe/sedan rear bumpers within each year span actually have the same part numbers even.

The '96-'00 hatch rear bumpers are all interchangeable for each other too.

Cool, I'll probably just toss a rear lip on it anyway, so you won't really be able to tell what year bumper it is...it will be much better than being held on by ducttape.
