96-00 Civic Stock Radio Dash
does anyone know.. how to take the stock radio out.. on the 96-00 ex's?.... they are so anoying and i really don't want to break anything because they won't even pop out with the screw drivier or anything... where should i start from?....

take the screws out that hold the plastic cover that has the power outlet/cig. lighter. Take out the plastic peice, you might have to take out your armrest, shifter assembly to get it out all the way. If I remember there are only four screws holding the peice in, one up under the opening of the glove box, one by the drivers side, right near the same location it was on the glove box, and two up top right under the radio assembly.
Now if you look up under where you took that cover off you will see to screws or bolts that hol the radio housing in place, take those out, and pop out the entire plastic center peice that holds you radio. Four screws hold the radio in the metal braket, take out the screws slide the radio out.
Hope that was clear enough, if it wasn't I can try to explain better later.
