96-00 Civic rear swaybar question....
I'm doing a suspension upgrade on my 97 dx (4 door) and I got a hold of a 99-00 Si rear swaybar. Now this should fit right, being that the suspension/LCAs are the same? Anyone have any pics/ino/website with more info on this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks guys. Do you know what brackets I need if any? I thought I had everything I needed, let me see if I have a pic of the sway bar I have.

if he had the sway from a SI, on another model... how about the subframe? would it be ok? Are the spring rates and strength of the frame the same? That would be my concern.

Its been my understanding (and experience) that the 13mm em1 bar really isnt large enough to cause damage (maybe with different spring rates though)

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
everythig from the 99-00 si should bolt up, infact the holes are already there, so no drilling is neccessary. I used to have this bar before i got my ITR sway.

Re: (rukawa1one)
Apparently I need 2 brackets for the swaybar to bolt onto the car, not the LCAs. But I'm not talking about the little ones on the swaybar with the rubber bushing. Is this correct?

Yes you are, you need the brackets that mount to the lower subframe that the "d" brackets atach to.
The holes are there in the subframe also.
52317-S04-000 Is the part number, you need two and they are universal for either side.

Damn, thanks for the info! So I can just give the guy at the dealer that part number? Just in case it's a rookie, that part is off an Si right?

Re: (EL Vap133)
hey vap...
this is wizebanana, i picked up a rear disc conversion for my vsm ex coupe from your house a couple of summers ago... don't know if you remember...
you definitely need those d brackets. you may or may not run into a rubbing issue with your exhaust. my EM1 sway didn't rub with my 5Zigen Fireball but it dinged up my A'PEXi WS all up to hell...

Thanks again!! I went to the dealer but they don't have them, they have to order the parts and he would get them by Monday. I'll just slap it on at a later time. Thanks again!
