just curious to see what kind of strut bars everyone has in their car

Also, for those who have a cx/dx hatch with stock intake manifold (that comes out through the top). What upper front strut tower bar are you using? Thanks.

I am just using a $50 Pilot front strut bar. Gets the job done.

HP Motorsports for the rear.

but i have learned, you can get a generic bar off ebay specifically designed for the DX/CX...

or you can get a Y8 intake manifold and use any-other bar out.


anyone have pics of there rear strut bar for a 96-00 hatch??

Try a Neuspeed front strut tower bar. I use one on my EX, and it seems like it might go forward enough to clear a Y7's vertical TB.

that's what i have in front and a cheapo no name bar for the rear in case you're wondering.

edit: i forgot to mention the bar is a benen industries 3pt.

I have a no name strut and a GSR in the front and no name in the back and a front lower u-bar and i love them all.

mugen one...i just took off the whole airbox and left the bottom of the box and the filter...the strut bar holds the filter in from flying or falling off. works for me...lol

I had a Neuspeed bar in before I put on my y8 mani and it cleared! Still running it! Bought it used for like 50 bucks and I like it!

nothing in front, a cusco in rear.

sway bars made the most apparent difference to me. ST 19mm
