96-00 Civic AFTERMARKET EXHAUST system help....with catalytic converter....
So i may be picking up a 96 DX civic hatch this month. I heard that the exhaust is a bit different in terms of the cat location.
Here is a pic:
If i bought an aftermarket ccat-back system and some aftermarket headers that do not have the cat in them, would i need like a factory EX/Si cat? or how would that work since with aftermarket headers having the "cat delete" and the CAT-BACK exhaust not connecting to anything....
if you get what im saying..?
Thanks for the help.

You just need to extend the o2 sesnsor wires and you're set.

you need to get a cat fron an ex.si ir go on ebay and get an OBX cat because there will be a 1 foot gap of where its supposed be. you will also have to extend both o2s sensons wires cause the cat on a dx is up front and ex/si is under the car and the 02s go before and after the cat in those models as well
