96-00 auto cluster into a 1996 manual dx???
Well basicly I have a 1996 dx MANUAL hatch. And I really want a tack but hate the look of those huge aftermarket ones that mount on the dash and am not all that thrilled about paying $200+ for a SI, EX, or CTR manual guage. So can I put a 96-00 AUTO cluster into a 96-00 MANUAL civic and have all the guages (except the gear light of course ) work right? I guess it I can do this I would just spraypaint the gear lights black or something. Here is a link to a cluster I was looking at:
And here is what I am staying away from:

JDM is getting kinda out of hand IMO

okay that spoon cluster is so expensive just because its spoon and they dont make it anymore. Im pretty sure that cluster will work fine. I have a question are you actually going to buy that? You can find an ex manual cluster just look for it. I say if you really want to save the extra money, then buy that, but I think you should look a litte hared first.

Very true, I guess I'll just go for the e-bay connect then. Thanks.
Since I'm asking questions about clusters, anybody know what this is:

Its the sir cluster. Thats cluster is dope my friend has it in his car, but I think they are kinda hard to find. You should just go with the SI or CTR. I know you said that you didnt want to spend an arm and a leg so maybe you should stick with the SI or EX. good luck!
