Default 95civic vs 99civic

hey i just test drove my friends 99' ex coupe and his shifter is wayyyyyy different than mine. His is all soft and crisp, while mine is hard and "bulky"lol.

my Question: Does one civic got hydralic and the other cable tranny's? is that why they feel so different?

BTW: my car is in my Sig.

Basically, the only difference is the shift forks, which wouldn't give that much difference in feel.

the bushing has a lot to do with the shifter maybe yours is old and hard and might need to be changed. i would recommend oem or polyurathane bushings. You might want to checkto see if the shifter is aligned cuase mine was out of place and it was hard to shift from one gear to another.Oh yea and u might need grease on the ball at the end of the shifter. Hope this helps!

anytime bud! i have urathane bushings and it feels kinda stiff now on the other hand oem feels more soft. I liked my oem better but that just my preference. i think u can get urathane for about 20.00 from http://www.summit.com
