95 v-tech dies after warms up HELP
I have a 95 DelSol with a D16Z6 motor. It starts and runs till it reaches operating temp then it sputters and dies. Then it wont restart. If it sits a day or two it will start up and do the same thing. When I try to read the codes it doesn't flash anything. I put a new fuel filter on and changed plugs. The plugs looked good coming out. Any ideas.

do you think that you can get your hands on a fuel pressure gauge? check fuel pressure. and also when was the last time you changed you fuel filter other than just now? you can over work a fuel pump with an old filter and actually over heat them and they will stop working till they cool down. im actually working on that same problem on a 2000 pontiac at school. also it can be a coil problem. just go to an auto parts store and buy a spark tester. there like $7 at autozone and hook it to the wire and to ground and adjust the gap to .044 and see if its strong enough to make the gap. alot of the time the coil will get to hot since its an internal coil and will shut down or short out. it happens with honda coils and ignition control moduals. but check those and go from there let me know what you find out with those and ill try to help from there
