95 Si Hatch w/ b16a Q's
hey, i recently purchased a 95 civic si hatch with a jdm sir2 b16a swap and i have a few questions...
check engine comes on sometimes when i hit vtec and stays on for the whole ride, the cars performance is not affected at all but i just don't want the check engine on. Should i pull the ecu fuse under the hood and put it back in after about 5 minutes? i heard that this might help.
also i was told it has an integra ls transmission. are there any numbers on the tranny that i could read to determine if it is an ls tranny or not? i plan on boosting it next summer should i still get the b16 tranny or keep the ls tranny?
another problem is that the car runs a little too rich. the car has an aftermarket high flow fuel pump installed because the previous owner was gonna turbo it so i guess thats why there is so much fuel. how should i lean it out or correct it...get a vafc or maybe an aem fuel pressure regulator? i wanted to leave the high flow pump because i wanna go turbo next summer? but if i have to i can get a stock b16 fuel pump.
the previous owner added aftermarket power windows and they work but they go real slow, should i check the wiring or just take it to an audio shop or something?
thanks for any help and as soon as i get a digital camera i will post some pics.

i would be willing to bet that the check engine light and the running rich are related. take it to a shop and get the codes checked out. and yes the tranny should have numbers on it specifying what tranny it is. just do a search on it and check it out.
