Default 95 Ls motor in 98 honda civic.....keyless wont work, neither will radio

I swapped a 95 ls motor in, and now the keyless entry will not work, nor will the radio. I know they are connected, so maybe they arent getting power. I check the fuse, looks fine. Any other ideas?

If you've got a EJ/EK EX coupe, the keyless entry is connected to the stock radio on some models. If it stopped working after the swap, maybe you blew a fuse while you did the wiring. If no fuses are blown, get a voltimeter, and check how many volts your getting to your radio. If your not getting ****, then go further up and check at your fuse box. I'm pretty sure changing your ECU to an LS one wouldn't mess up the Radio/Keyless Entry.

the keyless entry AND the Dome light are in the 96-98 civics....the 99-00 have their own computers.

they are seperate from the ECU...In the 96-98 its IN the radio, they have special harnesses to keep it with an aftermarket radio.

With the 99-00 it has its own module so theres no probs with that kind of stuff.

So if you get the radio working the keyless entry will come back as well.

I did have keyless entry and a working domelight, but the owner befroe me installed a custom radio, so now niether work. Be careful in the fuse box, we pulled a fuse tot he dome/radio and somehow and alarm went off, the horn kept blowing on and off till the car was turned on. I didn't even know I had an alarm unless that really isnt an alarm.
