'95 Honda Del Sol Automatic Trans Reverse Gear Does Nothing
So I was about to go home and every gear worked perfectly except for the reverse gear. I had no problems with switching gears before. I switched between gears for a while to see if that would fix the problem but nothing happened, I basically have another neutral gear. I checked the transmission fluid and everything looks normal, I have no check engine light no abnormal noises or grinding of gears when switching between them, Should I replace the solenoid? I've seen other people do that.

I assume high mileage since it's a 95. When is the last time you've replaced the trans filter?

Re: '95 Honda Del Sol Automatic Trans Reverse Gear Does Nothing
The control of the 1995 transmission is almost entirely mechanical. The two solenoids are to switch between 3rd and overdrive, and to lock the torque converter. Neither of those will prevent moving in reverse. If the lever on the transmission is in the reverse position but it doesn't engage, there must be a problem inside. The cable could be misadjusted. Make sure that when you put the handle at P, it really is parked (car can't roll). Then move the handle slowly through the range and see if it hits reverse anywhere.
