how did you almost die? i have heard some people say using the drum PV will make the discs lock up, and another guy said the drum PV wont give them enough fluid to make them do anything... they contradict themselves so I didnt get one yet...

here is why you need the right PV. think about how a drum brake works, the shoes arnt touching the drum when your foot is off the brake. compair that to a disk brake where the pads are in constant contact with the rotor. so when you have a drum brake PV, it sends more fluid to the rear first, and then sends fluid to the front. so you can see the brakes will be biased towards the back which is no good... imaging braking into a turn and the back end locking up....

the drum PV will make the rear discs lock up "SOONER" than the fronts. That doesn't mean they'll lock up everytime, that means that with enough pedal effort, the rears will lock up before the fronts, and you will be..... well, drifting in a FWD car.

true, but when it come down to it and some one pulls out infront of you as you take a corner, unsuspecting, the rear brakes lock up and you slide into a spin... not a wise idea IMO.

I would have to agree. You never know when you're gonna have to SLAM on that brake pedal. Just do it the right way the first time. A $40 dollar part and some patience? Or a wrecked car because you didn't want to wait?

not quite, although i'm pretty sure i've stated the same in the past. Integras switched to a 6th gen civic style prop valve (and brake booster, master cylinder) in '98 (I just discovered this not long ago). '90 - '93 Integra prop valves will work as well. Bottom line: '90 - '97 Integra prop valve will work.
