Icon2 95 Honda Civic EX Coupe

Bought a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe the other day for 600.00 to save some money. The F350 cost to much driving the 100 mile trip to and from work each day. well 48 miles each way. then after a few friends seen my new little toy with no power what so ever!!!! vtec 1.6 and thought it would be fun to make it our weekend drinking project car but of course none of us have a clue about Hondas. what motors will fit street legal? were all trans am fans and are going to build a baby trans am out of this car. but front wheel drive lol want to keep the motor down to about two grand tops. any honda advice would be great! thanks.

That mitsu motor will last you probably a year... Don't you wonder why you never see eclipses on the road? Notorious for crankwalk... Slap a k series, boost it, and smack the ta's in the face.

And reading this was even bigger waste of time.

1st off, this is HONDA.

2nd, sure deals may pop up every now and then for that part, but that doesn't mean it fit, and or be legal.

3rd, There are no mounts, and company's that make anything to perform that exact swap, that I am aware of.

Don't talk **** about someones post being a waste of time, when your post is just as bad, if not worse.

OP, Sorry, but that falls by the pipe dream. Possible? Sure, but I really don't think it would possible for 2k.

If you hunt around you could fine a vitra setup and a decent turbo setup. This would give that little a nice kick in the ***. But I am still unaware that would be able to that, and all of the supporting mod's to make that work well.

You may even be able to pull of a B series swap.

My reccomendation is to look around this site. and save up some more money. Just deal with that gutless car for now.

Maybe look for a integra parts car for the engine. You can pull, and put into your car.

What was a waste of time? Do you think the idea of massaging in a turbo Mitsubishi motor into a Honda Civic for UNDER $2,000 is actually possible? It just aint gonna happen. You can see the OP totally changed the direction of his first post?

I know you don't like me but keep the personal attacks confined to your own threads shall we?

Some people like to drink and wrench on cars on the weekend. I think that's what he means.

OP is $2000 your budget or is it as much as you are willing to spend?

i can spend more was just hoping to keep it low. spent 600 on the car only worth what 1000? dont want to drop a 10 grand into just the motor. Not looking to be the fastest honda out there just a fun play toy that gives our trans am and the little ricers around the streets a challenge before they win.

What you listed would work just fine. IF, you swap to a 5spd.
Buying that swap would make your parts list a lot smaller.
