95 Honda Civic EX Auto Tranny Problems, Please Help
My girlfriends 95 Honda Civic EX (Automatic) is having the following problems:
Car does not shift in D-3 or D-4.. it will stay in 1st and run all the way up to redline.
Car shifts from 1st to 2nd in 2nd and will of course stay in 1st in 1st gear.
What is the most likely cause of this problem?
I don't want to buy a tranny if it is just the transmission control unit or an even smaller problem.
Please let me know, thank you so much.

Check the solonides, if you hook up a scan tool and see if its you're activating the solonides. Easyest way to find.
