95 h22 swap mounting problem
i have a 95 ex coupe doing an h22a1 swap and my motor is not lining up right.
im having a problem im using enjo mounts. i think there from around 2006. heres my problem, so i put the driver and rear mount in to find out that my tranny mount is pretty far off. ive cut the tranny mount bolt down and ive also cut the bracket to fit. my motor visually to the eye (looking sideways at the car) is pretty straight but if im standing in front of the car my motor seems to be higher on the passenger side. im wondring if anyone has had this problem or knows whats wrong.

Re: 95 h22 swap mounting problem
The civic was originally an automatic. You need to cut off the original pocket mount welded to the frame rail and weld on the manual version. The manual version sits flat, the automatic version angles up.
Just to add a little more info, the automatic pocket mount also sits about 1/2" closer to the front of the car than the manual version.

Re: 95 h22 swap mounting problem
thanks so much i didnt even think about that. im just trying to jump to far ahead and i probably should have done the manual conversion first. i even knew about that bracket needing to be changed. between wire tucking, manual conversion, and h22 swap it just gets a little overwhelming sometimes. thanks so much again
