Here is the story - wife's car
1995 Civic EX manual 114K miles, been sitting for a year or so

Philly Area
Starts OK

Things Needed / Attention
New clutch (original)
Consumes Oil
New Exhaust Header / Gasket - exhaust smell when driving
AC Compressor Seized, potential shards through lines, etc.
Brakes -
Hood Latch


I'm assuming that I would need to re-build the motor, and have new exhaust Headers and exhaust placed on the car.

AC Compressor, and new lines, etc.

What am I looking at spending for such a project?

Would I be better off donating and taking a Few K dedustion... or plowing the $$ in to this car?

She drives a 05 Accord EXL M now... and I am looking at dumping my 96 Eldorado and fixing this one up... any insight?

What Am I looking at in terms of repairs for this?

well, to go all out, a engine swap would be good...couple thousand depending what motor you get....the rest shouldnt be much. to fix what you have broken a couple hundred...but if your in the socal area and wanna sell it...message me lol...ill buy the car as is.

A D15B VTEC would be an excellent replacement motor, low miles too, they don't go for too much anymore, would save you time and money, and give you spare parts as well....

See what the actual condition of the brakes are, if you need new calipers and such, those can be a bit pricey for remans...
