I have a DD comuter Civic with 193,000 miles on it. Lately Ive noticed a slight exhaust smell when at a stand still and a loss in MPG. I recently replaced my AC compressor and while the shield was off the manifold I noticed a crack right smack in the center, and its not exactly tiny and its also kinda wide for a crack.

Anyways.. should I repair this thing, replace it with a junk yard manifold, or does anyone make a CARB legal header? If so where can I find a smog legal header? How much do they normally go for?

Apparently this is a common problem as my buddies GFs Civic did the same?

FWIW doesn anyone that has a stock manifold laying around want to get rid of it?

The manufacturer will almost always list if its carb legal header. Do a search for carb legal headers. If you go the other way just go to a junk yard and buy a used one you really need to get that fixed . figure around $50 for a used header and 250 and up for a good header

Ill look for a used header if I cant get a cheap OEM or aftermarket through my work account.
