Default 95 ex clock spring?

my srs came on the other day. tried jumping the srs plug in the correct sequence to reset it but it comes right back on. my horn still works. just did the power steering rack a month ago. is it pretty safe to say its the clock spring or what else could it be? thanks for any input.

From the FAQ's at the top of this page. Pull the code.

help guys!!!! that FAQ doesn't include my car. I tried jumping it but it doesn't flash like the obd2's do. my port only resets the light but mine comes right back on. can you scan this with an obd1 scanner? I just can understand how a light comes on but there's no way to determine why.

When you jump the service connector does the CEL turn on and stay on?

Are you saying that the SRS remains on steady with and without the service connector jumped?

ok, as I was going down the highway I realized my cruise control doesn't work anymore. and when looking for cable reels I saw there's 2 different models, one for with cruise and one without. is the fact that I have an srs light and no cruise control a sign that it's my clock spring??

No need to guess. Ohm test the cable reel SRS and CC wires.

I tested across all prongs of both the srs and cruise control connectors. only got one combination to read ohms and read 11.82.
