95 Ej1 w/B18B1 Swap PS Help....
Ok i recently swappped in a B18b1 into my ej1. Im trying to retain my Power Steering but cant seem to find out how. My problem is i have p72 brackets(i believe they are GSR) and the pump came off the same gsr also. So what would i need to keep my PS working. Ive searched and came to nothing except OB1 and OBD2 line diffirences and keeping it in a EK. But not Ej.
So any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanx in advance.

What there saying bout you needing the upper LS bracket is correct since the pumps and lower bracket are the same. I just have all LS parts cause it came on my motor.

back to the top cuz i couldnt get it to work. The tensioner holes dont match up from the bracket to the pump? Why would this be? I was told it came from a GSR(the pump)
Im now running a top LS bracket and a bottom gsr....or so i was told the bracket came from with the pump.

Need help please...or could it be the belt? Cuz the belt is a GSR also. I can lift the pump up manually but no matter how high i lift it the belt stays loose.

Ok but where would it state this. I went to some spot and the pump said p30a on the castin but had a sticker where it said p72 and they were identical.
So by what do i go by? Sticker or casting?

I have no clue. I know my LS pump has a P72 sticker and my B16A pump has a P30A sticker. They are different P/N's , so I would think there has to be a difference, either externally or internally. Although you are right, they do look really similar.
