95 DX hatchback D series to b18b1 LS
I just bought this DX hatch for a towing bill of $50 basically and got all this cool stuff with it including this b18b1 pictured below. What all do i need to be able to get the b18b1 in it? its has a D16y7 in the car now with a slung rod and hole in the block. I dont wont to put anther D series in it. Ive never had a b series and love to get it gong.
listed below are the major things i have:
B18b1 with la trans
P75ecu
Wiring harness from the teg it cam out of
engine and trans mounts
shift linkages.
What else would I need to finish this out besides trans axles?

On google, try "site:honda-tech.com b series swap eg" without the quotes.
This will net you a ton of threads covering your exact desire and you will find out all kinds of little things that need attention for this swap.
It's been done so many times so is well documented.

Re: 95 Eg hatch D series to b18b1 LS
I have a B18B1 with an ls transmission. I want to put it in my 1995 EG hatch i just got. The hatch has a D series engine in it. I have the motor and transmission mounts for the engine, I also have the shift linkages for the b18, computer(p75), header for the B series. it also came with the b series wiring harness. How do i put the b series in the EG. Is it just plug and play or do i have to change everything. I believe everything is OBD1

Re: 95 CX/DX hatch D series to b18b1 LS
My apologies guys. I realize why I couldn’t find anything on my Hatchback. It is not a EG like I was told. It is either a CX/DX and now I have found butt loads of stuff. Thank you everybody!

Re: 95 Eg hatch D series to b18b1 LS
If it's a 92-95 hatchback it doesn't matter if it's CX/DX/EX or Si, it's considered the EG chassis.
In Canada it's actually EH2 but still everyone references it as the EG for the 5th gen hatchback.
Reason being, in Japan it was EG6 for the 5th gen hatchback with the tail gate rear end.
So, most all searches revolve around EG if you want to talk about the 92-95 Hatchback chassis.
