95 DX with gsr and gsr compressor advice please (yes, I searched)
My 95 dx did not come with AC.
I pulled the FULL A/C system from a 93 civic. It is R12.
Of course, the D series bracket didn't bolt up.
I put the GSR compressor back on and got the AC lines to bolt up. Granted, they look a tad unusual, but they bolt up. There is no kinks or crimps in the lines and no damage to them what so ever. I used ALL the civic parts and wiring and the GSR compressor and bracket.
I'm taking it to my friend Monday to have him evacuate and recharge the system. By looking at these pics, does anyone here see anything that may be an issue?
I know:
1. I need to replace the washer/ghetto tensioner.
2. Deeeep vacuum.
3. Clean up.
4. I have the r134 conversion adaptors and my friend is putting them on.
The wiring is not done yet, but will only take a few minutes. I've never seen anyone else's lines look like this. Can someone verify everything is in the right place?
Thanks in advance.

Other than the incorrect length high pressure hose, you are going to need some heat sheilding over the exhaust manifold to protect the hoses. The wiring will take you more than "a few minutes" though ...

Yeah, I plan on maybe wrapping the lines with heatwrap.
I wire cars for a living, so that's not an issue.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.
