95 Delsol Gsr swap, crazy idle issue. Searched

First off thanks in advanced, secondly I have searched.

So now down to buisness.

My buddy came to me with his 95 Delsol Vtec - stock b16. crazy miles and told me he wanted to rebuild the motor. I told him ok I can do that, but why not build this spare gsr long block I have.

So long story shot. I built him this jdm gsr oem spec dropped it in and cranked it up.

Runs great when its warm, but when its cold it idles at about 2k, once warm it drops down to where it supposed to be, 800-1000 and smooth.

Threw a code for the IACV so we repalced it. At the same time the intake manifold was swapped out for a skunk 2 one.

Now here is my question. New IACV still throwing a code, code 14. He didnt hook up all the vacuum lines for the pcv system but my race car doesnt have that and its fine. But for some reason I am still thinking its a Vacuum leak.

He has the OBD1 TB so the one coolant line goes from the IACV to the TB then to the IM. His Tb has the FITV on it too. And the other LIne off of the IACV goes from the IACV to the block.

We reused the OBD1 B16 harness, and its on a OBD1 GSR ECU.(USDM)

LMk what you guys think shoot me some tips. ITs just bugging me that I cant figure it out.

Thanks... Tom.

Is coolant flowing through the FITV? Have you tried to adjust it and the idle speed?

From what I can tell with the FITV yes, however I have not messed with its adjustment yet thats next on the list. I redid the idle screw to where it should be thay helped a bit but not much.

I am going to swap the FITV with the one on my Type R to see how that does. ( Mine is bypassed due to 3 bar and turbo kit.

So I took off the TB today to clean it and check the FITV valve. and well there isnt one. So bang head on my behalf I saw the 2 coolant lines going in and out under the TB and just assumed it was there.

I could have a bubble of air in the head but I have no bleed screw to bleed it off. There is a coolant line that is on the water neck under the vtec sol and it has a 90 degree elbow its plugged off. does any one have any idea where that goes?
