95 Del Sol SiR......and now my son... What do I do
I have had my del sol for about 2 years now and made it what it is today... But now I have a son and need something accomidating. I am going for a 2002 Sub. WRX wagon. (For performance and family car feel) I want to sell my Sol for 10,000 Firm. Do you think I can find anyone that would pay that much. No salvage title. 130,000 miles on the chassis. 20000 miles on the motor. (I completely rebuilt it) Exterior parts include CF hood, EG front lip, jdm fog lights, jdm 1pc headlights, side markers, mirror tint, rear license fillers, oem wing, shaved antenna.
Interior parts include: JDM map lights w/ door rods, JDM gauge cluster, Spoon Sports shift ****, OEM del sol floor mats, JVC Kamelion head unit, 90w Sony Amp, w/10" Kicker JBL mids and highs in the back, Pioneers in the front. Engine mods include B16A motor with GSR trans Prothane insert motor mount, CTR intake cam, GSR exhaust cam, Generic CAI (made the same power as AEM) DC 98' spec 4-1 header, RS*R cat back exhaust. Suspension mods include Full Ingalls camber correction kit (no unevenly worn out tires here!) RS*R down springs, GSR front brakes, suspension techniques anti-roll bars Front and back, Generic strut tower bars front and back Rolling on Genuine MUGEN MR5's w/ all lug nut caps and center caps.... I would trade it straight across for a WRX wagon too, but I know no one is dumb enough to do that.....

I would try selling it on Ebay. 10k is kinda high, I bought mine on 1/03 from a guy who worked for Honda Irvine in the R&D department for only 6,500.00. It was garaged for a year or two because he bought an S2000. I was fortunate, it was a real DOHC VTEC (EG2). A lot of dealerships in SoCal sell the VTEC model for about 10k or lower in the stock condition. If you decide to sell for less and want to recoup the money for some of your JDM stuff, let me know I need JDM Del Sol stuff...

i think 10k would be a lil high, since someone can probably reproduce the same car for a lil less. i dunno if i could even get 10k for my turboed b18c1 eg2.... sad part is that we put so much into it, but cant sell it for what its worth at all. you'd have better luck parting it out, and selling it almost stock.

yeah, those were my thoughts..... the price is high because I don't really want to sell it, and don't have to since my wife has a sedan.... That is the price I would give it up for if someone wanted it....
