Default 95 del sol meets 92 civic vx

The real purpose of this thread to ask all of you how truely our HONDA's are interchangeable!!! Of course the motor, trans and rear suspension will make their way into my hatch!!!!!!! I want to install the PW, AC, PS, tilt steering wheel and of course the CRUISE CONTROL because I drive almost 200 miles a day to and from work.

So I paid $500 for a Del sol this weekend!!! 160K on the ticker, sohc vtec, dc sports 4-2-1 header, dc sports front upper & rear lower bars, rear crossed drilled rotors, neuspeed lowering springs, AEM cold air intake. The guy I got it from needed to get rid of it and he brought off a guy who got rid of it after it had been broken into anyways it was an automatic then converted to a 5-speed. It possibly is the nicest conversion I have ever seen!!!! I couldn't tell anything till I started tearing it apart.

HOPE YOU ENJOY!!! Thanks for any info, flames, comments

i search craigslist everyday but the only honda's on there are 05 and up (i cant afford) and ones that have like 200+k and people want like 5-6k for them becuase they get 32mpg.
so in other words there isnt crap on my local craigslist.
and was it driveable when you got it? and did it have seats and everything?

Yea I drove it around the block after I cut out the alarm and fixed a few small wiring issues and replaced a few fuses.

wel im in ireland so models have different names over here, iv never even seen an ex so dunno wat it is if ya get me.
as for getting it to work im not really sure if it would work.
it would defo require some form of control unit and i wolud say some form or electronic control over the throttle body to keep it at the desired rpm for your cruise speed.
major work entails im sure

keep the sol and rebuilt it just as a project. rebuild that thing. $500 for a running sol and doesnt look horribly bad. do the swap in your hatch and put a b18c5 in the sol. then have your dd and your fun car.

it would be a shame to part out the sol.ive got a red 93 and have gotten it repainted and seats recovered (stock colors but in hot rod tweed which seems like it will last forever).plan on getting at least another 120k miles out of it which would put it at 300k miles.maybe by then my grandkids will be needing a car...

If I had the time and money (mainly money) I would fix and rebuild but I dont so Im just trying to improve my hatchy. Which is the main purpose behind this whole thread
