95 del sol confusion - no spark - please help
hello everyone im new here and i require help from anyone who is willing to offer it. heres my story.
i started with a 88 crx si obd0 setup with a zc dohc
i now just got a 95 si delsol (riced out bad) obd1 vtec sohc
i got the car cheap due to it doesnt run the person who had it before me bought it from some spanish person and drove it around until one day while he was driving it just died and he tried checking the obvious things and gave up and sold it. thats where i come in.
symptoms_no spark
checked- main relay, coil, ecu, cap, rotor, timming belt
no cel light or codes
now upon my google research lol a big hitter in this problem was aftermarket alarm systems. so i checked and surely enough there it was. now because i dont even have a remote, i pulled up installation instructions for the alarm and reverse uninstslled it. i still have no spark!
but upon looking under my dash i noticed a fat gauge wire wht/red in color hanging around the fuse pannel. it has a connector on it that looks to fit the accessory ports on the fuse pannel. the wire is confusing because it has that male clip to fit in the port on the pannel and then splits like a Y and one side has the female version of the connector and the other side goes up into the dash.
can snyone tell me what this is for because it looks native to the car but at the same time is unplugged? so what is it for and do i need to plug either ends into anything? thank you in advance. i will post pics tomorrow

Should have posted this when you had the pics ready. Don't know what you're talking about without them.
BTW. What does the person being Spanish have to do with anything?

and as for the owner being Spanish it really has nothing to do with it other than that's all i have to go on, on who did all the mods and who may have messed with this plug. because when i started asking questions about the car and what was done to it he reacted pissy and said "dont ask me anything about the car! i have no idea whats what and i havent done a thing to it! it was all the Spanish guy i bought it from! i just bought it and drove it until it died!"

I have no idea, I'm sorry that I can't help. However, good luck with figuring it out. Get yourself a Haynes manual. I did, and it helped tremendously. Also, kinda silly, I went from an 88 crx to a 93 sol
