95 CX with DX motor Problems with ECU
Ok I bought my 95 cx with a crap motor. the cylinders had like 115 compression except one which had like 25. well anywasy I ditched that motor and put in a 93 dx motor which was atoumatic. Oki so i bolted it up to my cx tranny adn put it in my car and we were all set. At this time i was still using the cx ecu and i can't remebber if it had any codes. Anyways I got a 93 dx 5-spd ecu and plugged it in to my car and -------------- pshhhhhh. smoke came out of the ecu so I quick unplugged it and opened the ecu up and there was a certain part that was burnt. And previous to all of this i had tried a a 93 automatic dx ecu which was converted to amnual and the same peice smoked and buirnt up.
I don't jknow what is going on with it all. I dunno if it has anything to do with the year ecu's liek 92-93 are the samen and 94-95 are the same.
IF someon could help me out or let me know whats wrong i would appreiciate it.
