95 CX to B16 Conversion
I am trying to do a b16 conversion on my 95 hatch. I just want to know if anybody can give a me an idea of all the parts I need and a place where I can get the engine, tranny, ecu w/ wiring harness(not cut preffered). plus any other parts I need. As well I am looking to get help on what is involed with putting disk brakes on the rear instead of the drums that are currently on the back wheels.

Well, you're in the right place, have a look through the forums, this has been covered about ten million times. Pay close attention to the stickies, and the hybrid forum.

Easy to do conversion if it is an obd-1 motor. (comes in del-so si)
It will fit right in, Just got to add V-tec wires into wire harnest leading to ecu.
Or better yet get obd-1 GSR which is the 94-95 series. (Fit right in like obd-1 delslo)

that is probibly the best place to get your swap from. $2250 for b16a sirII. direct swap for your car. i did this swap in my civic. it bolts and plugs right in. you will have to run wires for vtec, 4-wire O2 sensor and knock sensor. other than that its plug and play.

yes. and the SI..and the LX optional tach cluster(more of a sleeper mode...i guess?).
just swap out the odometer/speedometer to the one you're swapping in so you can keep your chassis mileage.

and convert to a 4 wire o2 sensor and depending on which ecu you run you might need to add knock....
you'll need
b series lower mount brackets
94-00 integra rear tranny bracket...
and driverside upper mount will depend on the bracket that comes on the b16...
shifter and stabalizer is also needed
and b series AXELS and half shaft

Re: 95 CX to B16 Conversion (ecl-ricochet)
i jus did this swap about 3 weeks ago..on my 95 ex.2dr....you can probably use a p28 ecu in your car its obd1 w/ vtech control ( kicks in around 5000 rpm redlines at 7200)and you can get that chipped but you dont have to( i am and i am getting mine tuned too) ...you will have to re-pin distributor to "plug-n-play" you will also have to change the voltage on altenator( take parts out of b16 alt and put into your stock motors alt.)and i used ls motor mounts (driver side and rear mount) you can use any integra motor mounts. now if you are using a '00 si b16 this is wat u have to do if not i jus gave a tutorial for nothing

Re: 95 CX to B16 Conversion (rusure)
oh yea and if '00 si motor you can still use o2 sensor from your stock motor, and if you get a p28 it will work w/ any vtech motor..which means you dont need x-tra wires jus ecu..runs from $50-125.. but expect around $100

Re: 95 CX to B16 Conversion (ecl-ricochet)
Well thanx for the help with converting the cluster. It is working great. But I got a new question for you guys. Currently the civic burns oil. The incredibly stupid guy who I rescued this car from decided to run nitrous through it w/o treating the engine with any upgrades at all. So we have spent some time trying to figure out exactly what is damaged so we can fix it and not replace the engine quite as soon. We have decided it is a blown head gasket. Although one of the guys I work on cars with ownes two e12 BMW 528i's has a different approach to the situation. When ever he runs boost on his engines for long periods of time it loosens his head bolts so he just re-torques them. That is his idea to see if re-torqueing them to spec may fix the problem some what. What do you guys think. COuld this cause more problems than it will fix?
