95 Civic w/ b18 GSR turbo question
Can anyone tell me how much HP twin turbos would add to my b18?
Car was build for show.. Modifying for racing. On Airbags at the moment. Changing soon.
So far I have:
1995 2 door civic with a B18 GSR motor swap, Venom fuel rail, AEM cold air intake,
DC Sport ceramic coated header, Greddy cat back exhaust, custom mapped computer and AEM cam gears.
Planning on building the motor up with all after market for the Turbos.

It always amazes me when people come on to this site asking about what twin turbos will do to their motor, and their car is sitting on stock suspension? Honesty who would spend all the money to recreate a car from The Fast and the Furious, and not even take time to give it a "racing stance".

My car isn't on the stock suspension... As of right now it's sitting on bags.. Changing it soon for racing.. My car was built as a show car.. It's won more than enough awards to satisfy me and all of the hard work I've put into my car.. So excuse me for not being made of gold and instantly transforming my car from show to race..

What type of racing are you referring to? Why would you take time to change it all over, if it has won so many awards and has the proclaimed mods, why not just put it up for sale and start with a stocker instead of buying all new OEM body pieces, interior, suspension, and the "twin" turbos?

Oh boy. Try the forced induction forum. HP is gonna depend on a lot of things more than just PSI and size of the turbo. Two tone "riced out" cars are the bane of a lot of H-T's existence. So be prepared to catch some heat. Either way just remember its a 4 cyclinder engine. You may want to go with just one turbo.

Alright let me rephrase the whole thing.. I'm not turning it to to a straight full blown built only for racing.. But would like to get more power.. and tq I do understand it's a 4cy and twin turbos on a 4cy for racing is an idiotic move.

So are you calling yourself an idiot? Or are you changing your mind about twin turboing the 1.8 liter motor?

Ricer.
Not only did you use a picture for some ebay advertisement.
But your question is irrelevant with the picture provided.

twin turbo is pointless on a gsr motor........unless you got money to burn
check out the forced induction section for all your turbo needs

Twin turbos are pointless on a b18, but you will have bragging rights.

You'll need lots of money, and an experience builder/installer. It'll probably work if you ran a sequential dual turbo setup. The first turbo begins to spool at a low rpm to ensure engine response. Which is supported by the second turbo which would spool at a higher rpm, which then continues the rest of the powerband.
That would be time consuming build and project. I'm sure it can be done with lots of $$, time, skill and experience builder.

I can tell u dont know too much. you only need one turbo. a few people have tried a twin turbo set up and it made less power and costed more money then a single turbo set-up. And if you do a single turbo set-up on your gsr motor you can make as much as 300whp reliably on a stock motor. Depending on the tuner is how much horsepower they feel confortable stock block. hope this helps.

Personally, I think they're hideous.

Re: (EM1_00Si)
There's the engine.. I was at work earlier.. and my Verizon internet wasn't working.. The reason I went for cosmetics is because I built it as a show car.. I like the cosmetics as is.. All suede interior.. Custom paint to match the exterior and custom built fiberglass box in the trunk for my system.. I am a little new to the racing specs because I've been going full cosmetics.. So don't hate on me for wanting to have both cosmetics and hp/tq

There's nothing wrong with show&go. Looks good, drives good.
If you have the money to throw in cosmetics and engine, more props to you. I don't have money for either one!
