95 civic STOLEN in NJ
Was stolen on or around 1/11/08 from north jersey(very close to nyc), tag number is VAS94M
Came back from vacation and it was stolen from my off street parking spot. If anyone sees it around please do contact me.
Cell: 917.442.9294
It was completely stock, only coilovers and si wheels, along with a new paint job. I also have autolock (locked the clutch). So i'm guessing it was towed away, as the autolock isn't the easiest thing to take off as its in such an awkward position. Or.. maybe not.
So what are my chances of it being stripped for whatever the thieves wanted and abandoned somewhere that it can be recovered?

probably got some pissed off car thieves, assumed you had more work done to it.. the car looks great.
you might get lucky and get it back if it was someone looking for performance parts...if its a normal chop shop then who knows.
they might get pissed and beat the hell out of it just for the hassle.
I couldn't imagine leaving that car parked somewhere in the location you said you did, good luck

Sorry to hear about your loss, the car looks absolutely incredible (and that's coming from someone who is not an EG fan at all).
In anycase, I hope for the safe return of your car, with minimal to no loss.

try calling your local police department and asking them if they towed it. having a clutch lock on would make it very difficult to drive it away

Re: (Decaf)
Yeah, it was parked in my parking space, which is basically a 3 car driveway, one for each tenant.
Funny thing is, about a month ago, I came home to someone in my spot at about 5am, rang every tenants doorbell and they all said, they don't know whos car it is, so I had to tow the car out of my space. So maybe the person got some revenge on me.. either way, I called my town, they have no file of it being towed, and any other town wont even talk to me when I say where I saw it last, as in not their town.
