Hi there guys. My friend has a 95 civic dx with 200k on the clock and I was doing a little inspection on it as they don't know much about cars. I pulled off the oil fill cap while it was running and I noticed pressure coming out of the cap along with oil drops here and there... I'm not very familiar with Hondas, but I would lean towards rings or poissibly valve guides. What would you guys say?

The car seems to run OK, nothing special...

when you take the oil cap off when the motor is running you will have oil drops coming out at you because of the valve assembly moving .... it is not a problem it is soposeto do that.... have the car checked by a mechanic right away to be nice...by the way this forum is for mostly 88-91 ef's your looking for 92-95 eg's...

Ah, my mistake, maybe a mod can move this thread. I should have clicked the next link. The oil doesn't bother me, but all the air coming out is... it's just strange, I haven't seen that on any engine before.
