I have a 97 HX with cold air intake and cat-back exhaust (2.25) w/ Es Oval. Im interested in the DC Sports header. Probably 4-2-1 but havent found one that says, like 96-98 hx they all seem to say just ex. Will this header work fine or whats the deal? Thanks.

well, the problem lies with the placement of your stock catalytic converter. your factory header is very short, and the cat is right up front. the header will fit perfectly with an EX cat installed, and you will have to extend the O2 sensor wiring

i just went to lou's custom exhaust and asked for a cat-back exhaust i have no clue if i have an EX cat installed.

it will fit. I would just get the new header and then get 2.25" piping made straight back to your header. Find an ex cat if you care to have a cat though. You will make more power with a straight pipe than with a cat so personally thats what I would do.
