Okay so here first of all is some back ground on the car.


Its a 95 civic M/T 4d Dx

Bought it a month ago and it was making a horrible clacking sound when the clutch wasnt in. So i changed out the clutch and discovered that my tranny was also bad, so i went to my local boneyard and grabbed one from there to save money. Im new to anything past brake jobs and tune ups. So i put it in, put everything back together, bled my clutch.


I feel it go into gear when its off but when i try to go; all i end up doing is jacking up my rpms.

also idk if this matters but when its off and i put into gear i can move the car as if it was in neutral. also when it was on jacks and i turned it on the wheels were spinning at about 5 miles an hour.

any idea whats going on?

Did you touch the clutch at all? Even look at it?

yes, its catching like normal.

I know this thread is dead but this is what i figured out.

when i pulled the car out of the backyard i heard a clunking sound n thought it was because my car was too low, turns out my drive shaft fell out bcuz i didnt put it in all the way XD
