Default 95 Civic HID's?

Hey guys. So I have a question. Hid's... Does anybody have them, and if so can i have a picture or something, and a link? I need new headlights, but even though it's everywhere, i like the HID and Amber foglights look. So i'm inquiring about Civic HID's and how they'd look. Thanks Guys! (Christmas presents btw haha)

And real quick, can someone tell me if the problem to the drivers side corner light is just the fender like i think? I mean it got in a small accident, and the (drawing a huge blank for the word) the spots that hold the corner light in place, are broken. so it's held on by some zip ties. anyways it doesn't look like it fits right. Just need another opinion.

As for the damage, post a picture.

Sarcasm. Do a Google image search if you need to see how they look.

The one corner light looks like a 4 door corner.

I could be wrong.

This is a tech thread not a picture request thread. Google has plenty images if you need to see what they look like installed.

As for your damage, I'm not even sure what you're asking.

+1. It is basically like driving with your highbeams on all the time, very inconsiderate, dangerous, and illegal in many places.

they aren't legal in any state.

However some don't really enforce it.

As for the damage. It's not fitting right, the corner lens isn't flush in the first picture like it should be in the second. could this be because of the fender?

Just my 2 cents, retrofit or stock halogens. do NOT use cheap ebay hids or any hids without projectors. Doing it right is not cheap either, but well worth it. I flash the **** out of my high beams at people that have crappy HIDs with no retrofit haha. I got the Morimoto Mini H1 Bixenon kit from theretrofitsource.com, with upgraded bulbs, shrouds, etc. I don't know much else about projectors to do a custom set up and I didn't really want to mess with piecing it together , so I bought the plug and play kit. That was about $355. Very easy install i honestly thought rotating my tires was more of a pain in the *** than this. Probably one of my favorite things on my car.

My Car:

And some pics I took to show light output:

Low Beam:

High Beam:

And there is no glare with the light output, the lights are so damn bright my iPhone can only take a close up picture clearly, headlights, shrouds, beams are clear with no glare in person

@ej6fade

That looks really nice man. I also ordered the morimoto mini H1 5.0 kit, just waiting for my ballasts to be delivered. What kind of shrouds and projectors are you using?

And are those LEDs is your corner lights?

You should post those pics in the thread I started about The Retrofit Source. It would make a great addition for examples for anyone searching for info about those kits:

Thank you. Using the Morimoto Mini H1 4.1 Bi-xenon Projectors that are standard in the kit, but I got E55-R shrouds and H1:XB35 4300K bulbs.

Yes, I think it looks better with all bright white lights lol i got them from autolumination.com but don't remember what bulbs they were

Not trying to be a dick, but it'd be nice if you could stop being such an *******. I'm 17 and bought the car with the dent on the hood. I don't know much of anything with civics, and i came here to learn, so it'd be nice if you could give me a break. Thanks. Anyways It's not flush with the Fender, and the places where the corner lens should be held in are broken which yes i can infer, that the accident is what caused that. And thank you to the people who linked me to sites where i can read up on HID's.

Again. This was a valid question. If everything "fit right" BEFORE the accident then YES, it's the messed up fender. If it did NOT then the messed up fender has nothing to do with it.

Don't get your panties in a bunch and try to think logically.

And being 17 or 70 has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Damn your lights look nice. I was planning to retrofit projectors from the junkyard into the stock housings, but that's not a bad price to pay for simple, badass light upgrades. I just may end up going this route.

As much as i can see, The fender wasn't damaged, only the hood. i'm just not sure what is wrong with it seeing as it doesn't fit right, and the other side does.
