95 civic hatch won't crank
I have an eg hatch, it won't crank. All of the dash lights come on like usual, fuel pump primes, but it won't crank. I checked all of the wires and everthing seems to be in place. Help?

Re: 95 civic hatch won't crank
1) Can you push start the engine?
2) Has the rubber stopper that presses on the safety starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal fallen out or broken?
3) If the rubber stopper is fine, unplug the switch 2P connector and short it with a jumper wire. Does the engine now crank?
4) If 1-3 are fine, wire the starter directly to the battery. If it does not crank, replace the starter.

Exactly what he said. If you hear noise coming from the engine bay, like a grinding noise, your starter is loose which will make your car not start. Theres alot of things that can make it not fire up, but just do what the smart guy said. Ignore my nonsense

I have two questions. I'm sorry but I am still very inexperienced with electrical stuff. Where is the 2P connector? and how exactly do I use a "jumper wire?"
