95 Civic Hatch Coolant All over bay
Hey all,
95 civic hatch d series stock. New head gasket, water pump, timing belt, plugs, plug wires as of yesterday. I have been driving and there is a significant loss off power and sluggishness, so much that it almost dies on hills on the interstate. I think clogged injector maybe? Not my big problem but supplying the info just in case.
This may or may not be in relation to my major problem: car began ovrrheating, come to find that there is next to no coolant and there is dried white coolant all over engine bay. Replaced radiator cap and refilled, same story about an hour later. It looks like it is spraying and not dripping, no visible leaks when I revv or start car.no bubbles or head leaks. Thanks.

Perhaps a crack or very small hole on one of your radiator hoses. Youll probably have to put the radiator cap on and watch it while it heats up. This happened to me and it was a small hole on my hoses.

You'll have to forgive me, I'm not a mechanic or anything lol. Any tips for lookkng for the hole and on replacing? Thanks for your help. I'm three hours from home and trying to figure this out before I leave lol

When the car heats up, the cooling system will pressurize, and coolant will spray out the hole. Depending on the size of the hole, it can be anything from a stream of water to a mist. It's best if you have straight water in it when you're doing it, antifreeze is not good for the eyes.
