95 Civic EX w ABS E-Brake Cable on 93 DX w GSR Brakes
Hey all,
I'm putting GSR brakes on my 93 DX Civic. I have the whole rear trailing arm assy. and front knuckles.
I've searched the web for some time and all I've found is this:
1.) 99-00 Si e-brake cable
2.) or Integra e-brake cable (will be slightly loose, is not perfect fit but works).
My question is this:
Why in the hell can't I just use a 92-95 Civic EX with ABS e-brake cable?
Wouldn't it be the perfect length?
Also, something that's not so clear-- do I use the hatch or sedan Integra e-brake cable?

RR DX 2DR5MT 47510-SR1-A02
RR DX 3DR5MT 47510-SR0-A02
RR DX 4DR5MT 47510-SR4-003
Considering the DX 2, 3, and 4 door parking brake cables all have different part numbers, the reason you're getting mixed information probably has something to do with the fact that you aren't being chassis specific. Tell us exactly what chassis you have.

Thanks for the response guys. I usually don't get people helping me out a lot on posts so it means a lot.
My car is a 93 Civic DX. Its an EJ2 coupe and it has the smaller of the two different types of rear drums that go on the car. No ABS as you probably guessed.
The rear lca's are from a gsr. One is from an older gsr and the other is from a newer one. Both look the same.

Coupe. That's exactly what I needed to hear.
47510-SR4-933 is your right side part number
47560-S04-932 is your left side part number
They can be found in a number of cars, including the 99-00 SI, 92-93 EX sedan, 94-95 EX and LX coupe and sedan, as well as the 94-99 Integra sedans.

No, I mean 94-99. That's what the part is listed for.
47560-S04-932 - Genuine Acura Wire A, L. Parking Brake
47560-S04-932 - Genuine Honda Wire A, L. Parking Brake
I bought mine from Rock Auto, for what it's worth. At the time that I was buying them, that was the cheapest after shipping.

Re: 95 Civic EX w ABS E-Brake Cable on 93 DX w GSR Brakes
I did a similar swap a few years ago, yes. Mine was in a different chassis, but the part numbers I gave you are specific to YOUR application, not mine. Those cables are actually a hair too long for my application, so my parking brake is pretty worthless.
