Default 95 civic ex has code 72
hi i have a question on my civic the check engine light came out the code number was 72 random misfire cylinder what can it be?

If it was an accord prelude or civic hx or vx I would say egr but it being civic ex then I would say the o2 sensor, borrow one that you know is good or get one from fleabay

Code 72 is specific to OBD2 Civics. The stock 95 Civic has an OBD1 ECU.

How old are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

my spark plugs are brand new i put ngk i have new ngk wires but i havent changed the cap and rotor and it has a new o2 sensor
