95 civic ex to a 94 dx hb
Just want to thank all of you for giving suggestions to my question earlier. Beginners luck I think, but I just found out that a friend of my friend is selling his engine to get a b16. anyways, he's selling a 95 civic ex engine and just wondering if that would work on my hb since it doesn't have a vtec engine on it. (transmission-wise), will it just fit in (motor-mounts)? and put turbo on it on the long run? Thanks again in advance!

Any D-series tranny will bolt up to a D-series engine. You won't have the quicker gearing of the Si/EX tranny, but it will work just fine.

yes on the tranny, the shorter gears will give you much better accel. You won't have that long frustrating wait for power like you do now, I have a DX and hate the gearing.
