95 Civic Ex 4dr - squeeling like a stuck pig, consuming oil, etc
OK - Inherited Wife's 95 Civic EX 4dr man (she is not driving the 05 Accord Ex M)
138k miles
Squeels like a stuck pig, all the time, not just at start up, etc
the wife NEVER did any maintenance to the car, except change the oil once a year (yea I know... now It is my problem)
How much should I be looking at to
1 - Replace the belts (parts and time for labor, etc)
2 - AC unit does not wok (ac died late summer as she was turning it over to me)
3 - Probably a head Gasket repair to fix the oil consumption (unless someone know of faults with this motor and can suggest something)
3 - Original Clutch (saw the check tranny light yesterday... then went off)
Also, not too hip on the motor designation (b y 6...whatever... what do I have)

Remove valve cover and inspect if any sludge buildup is on the valve train. If so, remove valve train and get it cleaned out professionally.
Remove oil pan and check for sludge there. Clean out completely.
Replace oil pump.
Replace timing belt.
Replace water pump.
Replace head gasket.
Replace all major seals.
Remove entire A/C system and trash it or sell it.
Replace belts with OEM Honda ones.
Drain and refill with fresh MTF.
You have a D16Z6. 1.6 liter SOHC VTEC.
