95 Civic dx build....need alittle bit of help
little bit about me,names john i live in the mountains of maryland.cant really say im new to the honda scene,i have owned two them but this is my first build.the first honda i had was a 93 teg gs-r.really wish i would have kept that car cause i now know how hard it is to find one for a good price and in good shape.o well **** happens i guess.i do believe that if credit is due i will pay it up.this build wouldnt happen if it wasnt for a family member helpin me out wit alot of stuff.u kno who u r dont let it swell that head to big.lol.but heres a couple pics jus to pass along.it is under construction so go easy on me.
this is when i picked it up.it had few things done.was told that it had a built gs-r but come to find it was no where near built plus smoked like a grille.
thats her now.still at the body shop should b home this weekend.(weather permitting)

Re: 95 Civic dx build
he said it was said to be a built gsr motor, but turned out to be nowhere near built and smokes like a grill.
You have something nice to start with, even if you just rebuild the engine you have with new internals. Rebuilding is cheaper than starting with nothing. I really like that darker blue. It looks like Harvard Blue, but metallic. I like it. The rims, the color, the stance. Just fix the motor, do a little suspension work and it will be a really nice car.
As for painting the bay, a friend had a sedan that was Harvard blue and he painted the bay a sort of light gray color. Do NOT do black. It looks dirty all the time.

I don't have any and don't know where it is on the internet. It was just OEM Harvard Blue and a light gray spraypaint. Its pretty easy to imagine. He had a K series and had the valve cover painted Harvard Blue and it looked really nice.
