95 civic d16z6 leaking from pipe going from water pump to thermostat housing
Hey guy's, I just put a new head on my 95 civic w/d16z6 and I have a leak from the metal pipe that runs from the back of the water pump to the thermostat housing. I tried to remove it and install 2 new o-rings today but did not get to far. It looks like I have to pull the intake manifold to get it off. Has anybody got any tips on this. Can you replace those o-rings without removing the intake?

You don't have to remove the intake manifold. Unbolt the t-stat housing and it should pop right out.
IIRC, you'll have to remove the breather chamber on the back of the block also. 4 or 6 bolts total and everything's ready to come out.

thanks for the reply top shotta. I did unbolt the thermostat housing but it won't come loose. The T-stat housing was catching on the side of the block or something and I couldn't get it loose.
What's the breather chamber? Sorry for my ignorance. Is there a service manual online anywhere?
Thanks
