i found a 1995 civic dx with 125000 miles for 3000 dollars.......it has aem cai and full exhaust including dc sports 4-1 headers, magnaflow cat, and tanabi racing medalion exhaust.......its been stripped but has all panals and brand new cd player and sony speakers, it has beat many 200 hp gti's and other preludes, is it worth buying?

dont listen to the rice crap other people say on here, if you know your gonna do whats right for the car and in your own vision of what a car should be then get it, if it runs as is and drives fine then by all means its not a bad deal. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
good luck on whatever you do https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: 95' civic cx (msinsky14)

def not worth 3 grand. The intake and headers and crap doesnt make it worth jack. ANd stripped paint https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emthdown.gif . Maybe 1500

msinsky14 01-02-2006 12:23 PM

the paints not stripped........the interior was stripped of all unneeded panels......over 4000 was put into it

Re: (msinsky14)

how about you make your own decision because you are going to drive the car . if you like it, buy it. its going to be your car not ours

you said its from canada? so you're looking at 10 years of underbody damage from the harsh winters. Aftermarket parts really don't increase the value of the car, a lot of times they make it worth less.

this sounds about right to me.

nalgas05 01-02-2006 03:18 PM

i bought a 92 civic dx bone STOCK, 175k orig miles, couple minor dents, for $1500

better to buy a stock car and do what u want to it. U say he's beating vw's and preludes, well looks like he's running the car pretty hard.

msinsky14 01-02-2006 03:59 PM

he is......the clutch is pretty good and the car runs well......noproblems......i just hate the speedometer is in km/h......the body is perfect and thats what i like about it......it has no dents, scratches, fades, or rust

Re: (hybridhonda826)

did it have 4000 in aftermarket parts?......this does, or should I still ask 2000 for it?....the guy has money problems and he needs over 3000 for it.......i cant shake him

eghatch4sale 01-02-2006 04:31 PM

keep looking how can he have 4000 in aftermarket parts ?????? think about it it has a cx/dx motor in it with some bolt ons it doesnt add up no matter if were talking canadian money or us money people can say alot of things but .................

eghatch4sale 01-02-2006 04:33 PM

and seriously think stock d15b7 with bolt ons still probably not going to dyno more then 100 hp to the wheels and the only thing its going to beat is its self !!!!!!!!
