'95 Civic Coupe DX Center Console Options
I have a DX coupe that has no center console to speak of. I'd like to replace what's there (or should I say "NOT" there) with something a little more functional, something with a pocket I can at least put my phone or iPod in.
I'm talking about the area under the dash in front of the shifter. Currently there's a cup holder (which is bogus) and empty space between that and the lower part of the dash.
I've seen some honda's that have this empty space filled in with a more functional console. Assuming that is a newer era interior piece, will be be compatible with my '95 if I were to pick one up at a JY or Ebay?
I'm open to other suggestions also.
This is not a show car by any means either. It's a commuter I'm adding a stereo to. I'm more for about function than style and the cheaper the better.

Re: '95 Civic Coupe DX Center Console Options
Good luck finding one. If you do be prepared to pay upwards of $250-$300 as this item was discontinued quite some time ago. I think someone posted how to get a 6th gen console into a 5th gen but of course it had to be modified.

Good lord!
That's unbelieveable, I would think this would be a common aftermarket replacement piece.
There's no way I'm paying $250 for that. That's more than I want to put into the stereo.
