Default 95 civic coupe b16a1

I had a question about this car i'm looking at a 95 honda civic coupe with a b16a1 OBD1, gsr hydro tranny this kid says all it needs is a shift linkage and the knock sensor wired up didn't know how hard it was to wire up and if it was worth it or not. any answers would be appreciated thanx

Knock sensor is as simple as finding a two pin connector for it and running a wire to the correct PCM terminal. Shift linkages go for about 60 bucks or so, and aftermarket units are somewhere around 100 or so.

Thanks dude but this kid said it hasn't even been started yet. I've read that they can be started with out that being wired up but i don't know. So if this kid doesn't let me start it i'd say something else is wrong

if it wont start there is more wrong than just the knock sensor

see i talked to him today and i'm meeting him on thursday to see the car and i asked him if the car was started yet and he said no so i don't know yet

he said the swap was done recently in some place in virginia and that's where he got the motor a jdm place down there
